Community Giving and Charity is one of our core values, probably the most important one. Giving back is the cornerstone of why we do what we do. We like to think we are a philanthropic team who excels at selling real estate, and are passionate about making a positive impact in our community by helping those in need. I have always given back to the community, but for the past few years I have made it a “rule” to give back 10% of my commission to local charities.

I know that my clients are the heart of my business, and I am blessed to be able to do what I do. As everything I have is a gift, and I have a desire, and a responsibility, to give back to our community. There are certain causes that are important to me, and there are causes that are important to my clients. As tempting as it is to pick just a few to support, I am finding it a great joy to “spread it around”. As a client, please let me know what charity is important to you so that I can support them. Below are some of the charities I have supported.

In 2021, I purchased a 14′ moving truck for clients to use, as well as local non-profits, churches and schools. Each month, we hope to have at least one “Stuff the Truck” event for a local charity. Check out the Truck tab under RESOURCES for more info!

Giving of our time and talents are also important to CPR Realty Team. We do something each month for a local charity. Personally, being the second woman president of the Rotary Club of Raleigh in its 97 year history in 2013-14, was an amazing experience for me, especially since my daddy had been a member of the Rotary for 47 years. He was one proud daddy! Another big honor was receiving the Community Volunteer of the Year award in 2003 from the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors, due largely to my efforts to raise $25,000 for a client who needed to upfit her new townhome to be wheelchair accessible after her daughter was in a terrible accident.

Inducted as the President of the Rotary Club of Raleigh, NC’s oldest civic club, for the 2012 – 2013 year. In its 97 year history, I was the second woman president, which was quite an honor. It allowed me to go to the Rotary International Convention in Bangkok, which was amazing. On the far left is my dad, Frank Poole, who was a Rotarian in the club for 47 years! With the Triangle Clemson Club and Lola’s Beach Bar, we Stuffed the Truck for The Salvation Army’s Christmas Cheer Program which gave out 47,000 gifts to area children!

The CPR Realty Team sponsored and participated in the Kick it 4 Kids Kickball Tournament for WakeMed Children’s Hospital. We came in strong and won second place and I still have the permanent bruise on my shin to prove it!

Sponsored and participated in a charity ride for the Tammy Lynn Center, an amazing organization! (I’m in the Clemson jersey!)
